MindCraft Prototype Website
CHALLENGE
How can a website concept simplify project management and collaboration for designers? How can the design foster creativity while ensuring that users stay organized and efficient?
SOLUTION
Drawing from my passion for design and project management, I created a website prototype aimed at streamlining workflows for designers. The concept focuses on simplifying tasks, enhancing collaboration, and providing a central hub for communication and project tracking. Through user research, A/B testing, and feedback, I refined the prototype to ensure it was not only functional but also inspiring for creative professionals. The design incorporates a playful yet professional aesthetic, with pink accents to make the platform feel welcoming and dynamic.

User research
results & findings
Given the tight timeline, I conducted a small survey with 3 participants, all of whom were new or junior designers.
Research reveals that designers look for tools that:
-
Simplify Complex Tasks:
A streamlined interface to organize projects without overwhelming the user.

-
Foster Collaboration:
Features for real-time updates, feedback sharing, and communication to keep teams aligned.
-
Inspire Creativity:
A design that reflects their aesthetic sensibilities, with vibrant visuals and engaging interactions.
Concept, Design & Prototype
I’m proud of this project because it showcases how a simple idea can be transformed into a tangible prototype in just a few weeks. The goal was to create a static one-page prototype that prioritizes functionality and visual appeal.
Week 1 – Research & Design
I began by conducting a quick survey to gather insights from 3 designers about their experiences with project management tools. These findings informed the initial structure and visual style of the platform. Wireframes were created to define the layout and prioritize user needs.

Week 2 – Design & Prototyping
With the structure set, I moved into high-fidelity designs, focusing on simplicity and creativity. Using Figma and Miro as a base, I prototyped the platform while ensuring the interface remained clean and responsive.

Week 3 – Usability Testing & Refinement
To validate the concept, I conducted usability test. Their feedback helped refine the design, ensuring the platform was both intuitive and practical. Adjustments were made to enhance navigation and overall usability.
